Current Events: Hello Chargers!

We hope everyone enjoyed their summer vacation and are ready for an exciting and memorable year at 276!

We started our sports out strong, with an undefeated varsity girls volleyball and varsity and JV flag football team. Girls and boys soccer have also been representing the Chargers with pride, winning most of their games so far!

This month we welcomed in a new student council! Our middle representatives are Mohamed, Spencer, Ismaeel, Bianca, Ciara, Omar, Chief, Rachael, Max, and Oscar! We hope they work hard to represent every member of our community!

Awaiting the arrival of your awkward middle school photos? Us too! If you missed out on your photo session with our awesome photographers, or simply want to retake your photo, makeup photos are on the 29th. Be sure to bring your best and brightest smile!

Dress your scariest for the Monster Mash on the 26th! Admissions are $15, but include a night full of snacks, friends, dancing, and fun!

The approaching talent show is an awesome time to showcase all your hidden skills, so make sure to glance at a flyer and sign up for auditions! Don’t want to perform? That’s okay too- grab a friend and come to watch your classmates show off their talents on stage on the December 7th.

The first book fair of the year will be taking place Monday the 22nd through Friday the 26th. Students can go to the fair in the mornings, at recess, and after school! Classes will also get a chance to visit during the week, so make sure to check the schedule for your class!
